Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Illinois, Dr. Shah received his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Upon graduation, he went on to receive his dental training at the distinguished Marquette University School of Dentistry. During his time in Milwaukee, he served as the Class Vice-President and graduated with academic honors and awards in periodontics, anesthesia, and oral surgery.
Dr. Shah received the special privilege to train alongside some of the top practitioners early in his career. He was the only student in his class chosen to take on faculty-level surgery cases at Marquette, while simultaneously also completing a surgical fellowship at Milwaukee-based hospitals. Dr. Shah spent nights and weekends in the Operating Room giving dental clearance to heart, liver, and lung transplant patients. He attributes his passion for dental surgery because of these moments!
After receiving his D.D.S from Marquette School of Dentistry, Dr. Shah then went on to complete residency training at one of the most esteemed AEGD programs in the United States. There, he received extensive prosthetic and surgical training in dental implants. His training specifically focused on all-on-4 treatment, full-mouth rehabilitation, IV Sedation, and reconstruction via sinus augmentations and various bone grafting procedures. He also spent the residency year teaching other doctors around the US on the topics of full-mouth implantology to help patients with minimal bone.
Dr. Shah is reputable for his compassionate, diligent, and caring personality. Recently, he was nominated for the American Dental Association’s 10 under 10 award, an award recognizing top practitioners around the States. He is an active member of the ADA, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In his free time, you can catch Dr. Shah spending time with his family, trying new pizza places, and watching the Chicago Bears!
“It is such an awesome privilege to have received the education and training to help someone smile and chew again. Dentistry is always a team effort. For me, it all starts with treating my patients with respect, compassion, and humility.” – Dr. Jinesh V. Shah, DDS
Having completed advanced implant training through the International Congress of Oral Implantology, Dr. Tolbert has been recognized as a Fellow of the ICOI.
Originally hailing from Macon, Georgia, Dr. Tolbert graduated from the Dental College of Georgia, where he spent most of his time researching dental implants and dentures. He spent every vacation and school break attending advanced education courses and working alongside implant dentists to help him hit the ground running.
Dr. Tolbert spent several years working as a Clinical Director in a multi-regional full arch group, educating over 40 doctors in implantology as well as traveling the country to provide clinical support. Today, he has settled down in Washington with his wife and is the proud owner of Smile Now Tri-Cities.
When he’s not honing his skills and providing care for his patients, Dr. Tolbert enjoys the great outdoors, playing guitar, and “anything with an engine”.
Dr. Tolbert decided early on in his career that his passion was for restoring peoples’ smiles. “I do this because the average patient that walks through our doors is asking to have their life changed. It is challenging work, but it is by far the most rewarding.”
